Builder Network is built so you can be found by the people you choose — not by the entire internet by default.
Visibility is one of: private, event only, nearby, or public. Social links (GitHub, LinkedIn, Instagram, Discord, WhatsApp, portfolio) are hidden until you connect, unless you explicitly mark a link as public.
We never show exact GPS coordinates or distances like “37 meters away.” When location is enabled, it is stored as a coarse bucket and only while you opt in. There is no background tracking.
The demo dataset is fictional. It is labeled in the product and must not be presented as real users.
If you self-host with Supabase, row-level security is the source of truth. The browser is not trusted for authorization.
